Welcome to the WB2VVV ham radio and antenna technology web site!
This web site name is the call sign of Chris Fagas, WB2VVV. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) assigned me the call letters WB2VVV (Extra Class) in 1976, and this has been my call sign continuously over the past decades. I was first licensed by the FCC as WN2VVV (Novice Class) in 1974, and in those days your call sign prefix changed when you upgraded from the Novice Class License.
I grew up in Pearl River, NY where I was the former president of the Pearl River High School Radio Club. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island, I settled in Park Ridge, NJ and was the former president of the Stateline Radio Club.
Now I live in Foster, RI, and am a member of the Radio Club of America, the Yankee Clipper Contest Club (YCCC), the CTRI Contest Group, the Straight Key Century Club (SKCC), the Quarter Century Wireless Association (QCWA), the American Radio Relay League (ARRL), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and its Antenna and Propagation Society.
